As April unfolds, we enter National Stress Awareness Month. Since 1992, Stress Awareness Month has been observed every April, aiming to increase awareness surrounding the origins and solutions to our contemporary stress epidemic. We’re exploring the connection between stress and crime, shedding light on how stress can lead to crime and how effective crime prevention can help reduce stress.

Understanding the Link Between Stress and Crime:

Research has consistently shown a strong association between stress and criminal behaviour. When individuals experience high levels of stress, whether due to personal challenges, economic hardship, or societal pressures, they may become more susceptible to engaging in criminal activities.
